Growing in Christ: Not a sinner

I often time hear many people call themselves sinners. Especially those who are Christians. Now those who do not know Christ, have label themselves correctly! However, many Christians are missing the entire point of the bible.

Picture yourself sitting at your desk, or a table. You have a nice, cold glass of red juice on the table, in a cup. You also have an important piece a paper, there.

Now see yourself accidentally spilling your cup over. The contents of the cup, spills over, unto the paper, saturating it with the red juice !

You see what is in that cup represents the blood of Jesus. The blood that was spilled for our sins! That paper represents, every person who has received what Christ has done on the cross. The bible tells us that God took our sins upon himself, at the cross!

2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Did you see what that verse said!! It's said..." That we might become Righteousness of God" Hallelujah!!

Jesus took our present, past and future sins! As the cup of Juice flows across the table, and across the paper, it often cover a massive section!

Just like our Savior! He covers it all! Jesus's blood shed was no accident! Christ loved us so much, that instead of leaving us as sinners, He covered us in His saving blood! Christ engrafted us into His blood line of royalty!

We are no longer looked upon as sinners! But sons and daughters in Christ....

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once werenot a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Goooood morning King Jesus! Goooood morning family and friends! Have a bless weekend... Love Sis Rashida
