Growing in Christ: Mastering the "Ask"

My children have mastered the skill of asking for something. Whether it be candy, to go outside and play, or wanting a new pet! They have mastered, the "asking"!

They are not afraid to ask big, or small; and their faith in hearing a yes answer is astonishing! 

The bible tells us that we are to ask our Heavenly Father, for what is laid upon our hearts. 

Though the bible also tells us, that Christ knows what we need, before we ask. God wants us to ask. Christ wants us to build a relationship of communication, through asking in prayers; and to understand He is our source and provider! All things come through Him...

Note this verse...

Mathew 11:24

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Asking God, does not mean that you will always, get all your "wants", because the bible tells us here, in James 4

"Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures."

But God does tells us, He will give us what we need. And bless us with our hearts desires, that is not out of covetousness, nor greed.

Today, whatever it is that you need! Whatever is your heart's desire! Stop, and "ask" God for it! Pray, believe, and just simple ask. 

God wants to talk about your heart's desires ❤ God is your provider!❤️
